First stop was indulging my inner child (Deb was incredibly patient and understanding) – a visit to the USS Intrepid. A decommissioned aircraft carrier, Intrepid is now a floating museum.
The afternoon was spent on the water for a cruise around Manhattan, where we enjoyed some of the iconic views.
Thinking of visiting New York? A cruise is something you should put at the top of your list.
This evening has us back in Times Square, stocking up on souvenirs.
So we are both quite weary and footsore. Tomorrow has us doing some mundane stuff before the tour commences (washing!), but we are hoping to end the day with a visit to the Rockerfeller Center – for some of the best views in New York.
You just have to have a hot dog from a sidewalk stall!
